St Mark’s Out Reach Effort

This summer our Outreach is to continue to gather Food, and our Annual Back to School Supplies of backpacks, Paper markers pencils and such.

The Season of Pentecost

After his Resurrection Jesus openly appeared to his disciples for 40 days. He then ascended back to the Father, and on Day 50, sent his own first Gift, the Gift of The Holy Spirit. This was to fulfill his promise that he would be with us always.

The Holy Spirit was poured out upon the whole Church, and each are given gifts of that same Spirit, so that we can do the work of Jesus.  No one has them all, but when the Church gathers and exorcises their gifts we are strong!

Come Holy Spirit Come,

and kindle in us the Fire of your Love

And renew the face of the Earth.

Watch our Presiding Bishop Curry Talk About The Mission of the Church

Welcome to St Mark’s.  I do hope that you will come and visit us in person. As followers of Christ, within the Anglican tradition, we strive to build up a loving community that will be a beacon of love and hope to our world.

We are a diverse and friendly congregation and try to welcome everyone as we would welcome Jesus. Join us as we reach out in joy into the world and in the name of Jesus to be of help to others. We take our ministry seriously, but always keep a good sense of humor about ourselves.

Come and see.  Come and Visit. Come and participate in our worship and fellowship.  We have regular activities for everyone.

God’s blessings to You and Yours.

The Very Rev. Richard E. Simpson
