Making Christ Known with Love

All are Welcome, and Visitors are Expected

Thank You for visiting our WEB Site.  We are glad you came.

Welcome to St Mark’s.  I do hope that you will come and visit us in person. As followers of Christ, within the Anglican tradition, we strive to build up a loving community that will be a beacon of love and hope to our world.

We are a diverse and friendly congregation and try to welcome everyone as we would welcome Jesus. Join us as we reach out in joy into the world and in the name of Jesus to be of help to others. We take our ministry seriously, but always keep a good sense of humor about ourselves.

Come and see.  Come a Visit. Come and participate in our worship and fellowship.  We have regular activities for everyone.

God’s blessings to You and Yours.

Yours in Christ,

Epiphany

Our Worship is rooted the Church Calendar, which is follows the life and ministry of Jesus.  In Advent we prepare The Lord’s Coming, both  first and second. In Christmas we celebrate the incarnation of God, first in Jesus’ Birthday, and secondly his is daily visitation in our own life. The Season of Epiphany begins on the day of the Epiphany. Biblically speaking the Epiphany is when the 3 Wiseman, and the first gentiles, worship the infant Jesus. Jesus is made known as the Christ.

Throughout the Season of the Epiphany we hear week after week, Gospel lessons that point us beyond the human Jesus to the Divine Jesus who is the Christ, the Messiah, the Savor of the World.

Epiphany is great time to think about the Mission of the Church, which is to Worship God, and to make known the Good News of Jesus to the world. This is done best by our words and our deeds.
